Job summary

Walmart seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures at its locations. You will inspect, repair, and document activities, order parts, and manage inventories while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You may lead onsite teams, determine scopes of work, and respond to emergencies, coordinating with contractors to ensure timely, quality outcomes. Strong attention to detail and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Alternatively, 6 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last five years and no more than two moving violations in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, or fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inspect, repair, and document maintenance activities; order parts and track inventory.
• Lead onsite teams, assign scopes of work, and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with contractors while maintaining logs and budgets.
