About our client: A family-owned manufacturing company with approximately 350 employees, committed to employee development and fostering a diverse, creative culture.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets while ensuring safety standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, lighting, motors, air compressors, pallet jacks, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair facility infrastructure such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and racking systems.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs):

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical services (24v, 120v, 240v, 480v) within the first 60 days.
• Meet with top vendors within 45 days to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Complete thermal inspections of panels and control cabinets for predictive maintenance within 12 months.
• Support the implementation of a CMMS system within 12 months.
• Specify, install, and relocate electrical feeds and equipment for projects in Q1 2025.
• Install conduits, wires, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches as needed for electrical additions or alterations.

Requirements and Preferences:

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets.
• Experience working from lifts, ladders, or other elevating equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek help when needed.
• Possession or ability to obtain an Illinois electrical license; license preferred.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance or installation.
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders, colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Availability to work extended hours during peak season (Thanksgiving to Christmas).
• Ability to work outdoors occasionally.
