Facilities & Maintenance Director

Spruce Mountain School District seeks a full-time (salaried position) Facilities & Maintenance Director. The successful candidate for this position will be able to manage and oversee all of the district's facilities as well as supervise the custodial and maintenance crews. Must be knowledgeable of all applicable laws and regulations, as well as read and interpret district policies, procedures, and related information. Must have the physical ability to perform all necessary upper and lower body movements, lift 75 pounds and to climb heights of 30 feet on ladders, staging and high lifts, as well as have experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers and carpentry, as well as building maintenance. This position requires the successful candidate to maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information as required by law. The Facilities and Maintenance Director is also responsible for their cost center budget and maintaining annual records for data comparison.

Qualifications / Certifications Required

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Three years of successful experience in the construction, planning or maintaining physical facilities in the industrial or school environment
• Experience working with the public
• Such licenses as are required to perform certain duties
