Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations for a government-contracted facility. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability.

You will manage a team of technicians, implement preventive programs, manage budgets, and coordinate with regulators and contractors. This role requires strong leadership, CMMS proficiency, and the ability to develop strategic plans and respond to

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in maintenance or facilities management, preferably government-contracted.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and budgets.
• Proficiency in CMMS and related maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with facility goals and budgets.
• Lead a team of maintenance professionals, including supervisors and technicians.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate routine inspections.
• Manage the lifecycle of facility equipment and maintain an accurate inventory.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, industry standards, and contracts; coordinate with regulators.
• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget; provide regular financial reports.
• Develop emergency response plans for maintenance-related issues and coordinate with departments.
• Oversee external contractors to ensure quality and contract compliance.
