Job summary

Homestead Post Acute in Lexington, KY seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to direct daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Qualifications

• Must have, at minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Three (3) years of supervisory maintenance/plant experience required.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department and activities.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed and policies are maintained.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments and supervise outside vendors.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure proper use of PPE and MSDSs.
• Prepare and manage the Maintenance Department budget and cost records.
