Adams and Associates, Inc. is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Teacher (Career Technical Training Instructor) in Manchester, NH.

This full-time role mentors students through hands-on trades training, helps them earn industry certificates, and bridges graduation to career opportunities. You will deliver high-quality instruction, track progress with case management, and collaborate across departments to ensure a safe, productive learning environment.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of teaching or related field experience.
• Certified, licensed, or accredited in NH or by a professional trade organization.
• Current NCCER certificates preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform active training tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high‑quality classroom and hands‑on training for immediate industry placement.
• Provide one‑on‑one mentoring to track student progress and program completion.
• Generate job leads and connect graduates with employment or further education.
• Maintain a safe, organized workshop and model professional behavior and dress codes.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to support student culture and safety.
• Keep accurate records of attendance and student data.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in teaching or a related field is required.
• Credentials: Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located (New Hampshire), or accredited by a professional trade organization.
• Certifications: Current NCCER Certificates are prefered.
• Requirements: Must possess a valid Driver's License and meet company insurability requirements.
• Preferred: Previous Job Corps experience is a major plus.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and handle regular active training tasks (standing, climbing, reaching).

• Mentor for Success: Provide personalized, one-on-one case management to track student progress, milestones, and program completion.
• Launch Careers: Proactively generate job leads, offer career guidance, and connect graduates with full-time employment or advanced education.
• Cultivate Excellence: Maintain an organized, safe, and productive workshop environment while modeling professional behavioral standards and dress codes.
• Collaborate Daily: Partner with teams across multiple departments to ensure a supportive, safe, and empowering student culture.
• Protect Integrity: Maintain meticulous, accurate, and secure records of student data and daily attendance.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required. Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional trade organization. For NTC, instructor must be certified by union or trade organization, or by a national trade certifying organization. Previous Job Corps experience preferred. Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. (Depending upon trade)
