Job description

Facilities Maintenance Associate

We are currently in search of a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our Facility Management department of the Marquardt Group in our location Cazenovia (USA).

The Facilities Maintenance Associateis responsible for performing routinemaintenance duties to buildings and grounds.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine painting, carpentry, basic masonry, basic plumbing and basic electrical work to ensure appropriate maintenance of buildings.
  • Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures, and equipment to result in more efficient operations.
  • Perform predictive & preventative maintenance including general PM’s on HVAC, plant systems, air compressors, corrective maintenance, etc.
  • Support Housekeeping as required for a clean and well maintained facility.
  • Perform basic Corrective or Reparative Maintenance tasks.
  • Perform snow removal on equipment, walkways and at entry/exit points.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 6 months - 2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • General understanding of building and grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to solve problems to prevent recurrence.
  • Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to interact effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and service providers.
  • Ability to prepare complex written documents and reports.


Travel:

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed required 0%.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk on a regular basis and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Work Environment:

  • Noise level in work environment is generally moderate.
  • Outside work in inclement weather may be required.
  • Recycling is required.

The base pay range for this role is between $56,160 and $62,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
