Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Uniontown, OH is looking for a Maintenance Assistant for a 2-3 month temporary period, 30-40 hours per week, with the possibility to transition into a part-time role. The role focuses on routine inspections, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep facilities safe, clean, and welcoming.

You will work with the maintenance team to address issues promptly, document activities, and support safety and quality standards across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and guests.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Good Customer Service

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, appliances, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist in performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, carpentry work under supervision.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees, residents and families ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of supplies.
• Support the maintenance team in preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Take Residents to doctor appointments as needed in company vehicles.
