Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and grounds. Under the guidance of a Maintenance Engineer or Mechanic, you will perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and general facility tasks to keep our buildings safe and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will assist with projects, coordinate parts and materials, maintain tools and spaces, and help prepare classrooms and meeting spaces

Qualifications

• One year of recent building maintenance work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks including minor painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with maintenance projects and work orders under supervision of a Maintenance Engineer or Mechanic.
• Support procurement by coordinating parts, materials, and supplies for maintenance activities and maintaining related paperwork.
