Job summary

QSL Management seeks an Assistant Director of Maintenance for The Blake at LPGA in Daytona Beach, Florida. This leadership role helps provide a luxurious, resort‑style environment for residents and guests.

You will execute the preventative maintenance program, oversee buildings and grounds, maintain accurate records on systems and equipment, and assist new residents with move‑in tasks. Strong time management, OSHA awareness, and a valid driver's license are required; painting and drywall

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Painting and drywall experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a preventative maintenance program and keep property ready for residents and guests.
• Practice excellent time management to complete tasks within company time frames.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing.
• Provide accurate documentation for maintenance records on all systems and equipment.
• Assist new residents and families with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Director of Maintenance for The Blake at LPGA.

Primary Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Maintenance:

• Successfully follows a preventative maintenance program set forth by the Director of Facility Management, which including paint-touch up, grounds and building tour readiness, lights are working, gutters are free and clear of debris, pathways are clear, trash and debris are removed from the property.
• Practices excellent time management skills and completes tasks within company time frames.
• Ensures that building and grounds are clean, immaculate and appealing to residents, guests, referral sources and prospects.
• Provide accurate documentation as it applies to maintenance records on all systems and equipment, including but not limited to the fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, fire monitoring system, kitchen hood cleaning, elevator inspections, boiler permit, nurse call system, emergency back-up generator, automobile maintenance, HVAC and PTAC service.
• Assists new residents and family members with move-in tasks during admissions and discharges.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Painting and drywall experience preferred
