Job summary

The Center at Cordera is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the team. This role will start with full-time hours, with an eventual shift to part-time or seasonal status, and pay depends on experience.

You will help maintain the building’s pristine environment, grounds, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner. Key duties include routine maintenance, painting, plumbing, electrical, and coordination with nursing services in resident areas; plus replacement of bulbs and general task execution.

Qualifications

  • Experience in general facility maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to perform painting, plumbing, carpentry tasks.
  • Comfort with routine maintenance scheduling and coordination with nursing services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs and clean windows as directed; assist with cleaning tasks.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services in resident living areas.
  • Service heating and cooling units/systems per manufacturer and policy.
  • Other related duties as directed by supervisor or administrator; must pass drug screening and background check.

The Center at Cordera is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team! This position will ultimately be a part time or a seasonal position, but will offer full time hours initially to help maintain and restore the building's pristine environment.
