Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of general physical labor experience.
• Experience assisting skilled workers is a plus.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• NYS driver's license may be required for some departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled labor tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Assist carpenters, masons, electricians and other trades as needed.
• Clean and maintain city buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Load/unload supplies and operate light equipment when required.
• Keep records and help with basic reporting as assigned.
