Description

As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. Jefferson Industries Corporation offers design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. We embrace programs for product development including product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. Our facilities support high-quality product manufacturing, providing a timely and flexible approach to meet customer needs.

We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Apprentice to join our Facility Maintenance Department on 1st Shift (Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm).

Responsibilities include:

1. Role: Develop practical skills to support production by maintaining facilities, HVAC, electrical systems, water, grounds, and the overall building.
2. Support: Preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, work area organization, spare parts tracking, emergency response, work order completion, safety/PPE adherence, documentation, and training.
3. Job duties: Follow safety policies, support cost reduction, assist in equipment maintenance and repairs, support other departments, and maintain documentation.

Program Schedule

This is a 2-year apprenticeship program, after which the associate may advance to Technician Level or revert to general associate status.
