Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Facilities Maintenance & 5S Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. You will paint, prepare surfaces, perform minor repairs, and support 5S initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Requirements include experience in painting or facilities maintenance, knowledge of painting tools, and strong attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or with a team is desired.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting, facilities maintenance, or 5S preferred.
• Knowledge of painting tools and surface prep.
• Understanding of 5S principles and workplace organization.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, repair, and paint walls, floors, doors, and equipment.
• Perform surface prep: cleaning, sanding, patching, priming.
• Maintain floor markings, signage, labels, and visual controls.
• Support 5S initiatives through labeling and standardization.
• Conduct facility inspections and assist with corrective actions.
• Complete minor repairs and appearance improvement projects.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and inventory for upkeep.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
