Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Maintenance Technician Trainee for 1st shift to assist in maintaining plant equipment and following preventive maintenance schedules. You will be tested on knowledge via written and oral exams and work to meet product specifications safely.

Successful candidates will join a team responsible for keeping machinery running, performing repairs, installing parts, and following GMPs and plant policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Observe mechanical devices in operation and identify causes of trouble.
• Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and wear.

• Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
