Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong safety mindset, hands-on mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance
Location: Frankfort, MI
Pay Range: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm with shifts scheduled on a 2 days on, 2 days off rotation.
What's the Job?
- Perform maintenance and repairs of buildings and grounds.
- Support daily site operations by filling propane tanks, dumping methyl & fruit waste, and picking up trash on the grounds.
- Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) on assigned equipment and handle building repairs as needed.
- Repair machinery and replace pump seals; assist with loading juice tar into dumpsters and pumping juice from the dewatering box.
- Maintain WWTP lagoons, inspect well heads, grade driveways, and operate forklifts, tractors, and light machinery while keeping work areas neat and clean.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with common hand tools and hand-held power tools, including safe operation while following OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Ability to safely operate, repair, and maintain machinery.
- Basic knowledge of 480V, 230V, and 120V electrical components.
- Ability to work safely at heights (up to 20 ft. from a ladder, forklift cage, or lift platform), carry 50 lbs. for 50 ft., and carry, set up, and climb a 30’ extension ladder; also able to shovel snow for 15 minutes at a time.
