Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Lead Facilities Technician to support day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned facilities. The role demands a strong skilled-trades or technical background and hands-on experience with building systems to lead the Facilities Support team.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventative maintenance, guiding technicians, liaising with vendors, and ensuring safe, reliable facility operations. TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required or willingness to upgrade.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled trade or facilities-related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with building systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations.
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians is desirable.
• Ability to read technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with ICD 705 and TEMPEST requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance for assigned facilities.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to Facilities Technicians.
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective maintenance with vendors.
• Serve as primary technical contact for building maintenance and facility issues.
• Monitor facility conditions and identify potential issues before they worsen.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, expenditures, and materials.
• Provide 24/7 emergency response support as required.
