Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is hiring a Kitchen Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring safe and continuous operation of the property.

You will handle basic repairs, assist with grounds, sanitation, and facilities tasks, and support HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while complying with safety standards. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong math skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred; related experience may substitute.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Basic math skills such as fractions, decimals, and percentages are expected.
• Ability to identify problems, gather data, draw conclusions, and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery and equipment to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Submit expenditure requests for repairs and improvements to the Facilities Manager.
• Support exterior grounds activities including snow removal, lawn care, landscaping, and parking areas.
• Assist with sanitation processes, pest control, and cleanliness of work areas.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water distribution systems, including fire suppression and safety compliance.
