Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a Facilities & Kaizen Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our New Braunfels, Texas facility. This full-time, on-site internship runs 12 weeks from May 17 to August 6, 2027, offering hands-on experience in facilities engineering, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will work with engineers on Kaizen events, assist with setup and improvement projects, and develop problem-solving skills using methods like 5 Why and Fishbone Diagrams while contributing to real

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Sponsorship not provided.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, productivity, cost, and Kaizen improvements for the plant.
• Participate in problem solving activities employing methods like 5 Why, 8D, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone Diagrams to drive permanent corrective action.
• Assist in facilities setup and improvement projects.
• Support other Engineering duties and projects as assigned.
