Job summary

White Settlement ISD is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance and repair across district buildings and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The role includes assisting with grounds upkeep and daily bus/vehicle servicing.

Qualified candidates will hold a Texas CDL with P and S endorsements, and either a Texas HVAC license/tech certification or be willing to obtain one. This is a full-time, on-site position in White Settlement, TX.

Qualifications

• Texas commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor license or technician certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of district buildings and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems.
• Assist with maintenance of district grounds.
• Perform major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision on district vehicles.
• Maintain HVAC systems and ensure safe operation of all HVAC in district facilities.
