Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Facilities team. The role involves cleaning buildings, offices, and restrooms,Restocking supplies, and assisting with annual spring cleaning, with a focus on maintaining a safe and clean environment in a faith-driven organization.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of housekeeping experience or training, plus knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols. Language: English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 months housekeeping experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of basic cleaning and ability to learn the Samaritans Purse cleaning standards.
• Ability to solve simple problems that may arise during a workday.
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• General knowledge of housekeeping safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Clean buildings, offices, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and caring for floors.
• Clean furniture, carpets, windows, blinds, doors, jambs, refrigerators, sinks, toilets, light fixtures, countertops, and windows.
• Empty sanitary receptacles and remove trash from all buildings.
• Assist with annual spring cleaning of all buildings.
• Restock supplies and refill soap and tissue dispensers.
• Other duties as assigned
