Job description

POSITION: Two part-time university staff positions are available in Facilities beginning May 12, 2025 and ending May 30, 2025. The official and working title for this assignment is Plant Assistant. The expected hourly hiring salary is $19.00 per hour (commensurate on experience) plus shift differential. Retirees and recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, and climb ladders.
  • Familiarity with hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with confined spaces.
  • Experience performing mechanical maintenance.
  • General computer and keyboard skills.

DUTIES:

  • Cleaning and Painting.
  • Minor maintenance.
  • Confined Space Watch.
  • Other duties as assigned.
