Job summary

Sports Facilities Management, LLC manages Paducah Sports Park, where a Grounds Maintenance Team Member will support daily upkeep of buildings and grounds, assist with events, safety procedures, and maintenance tasks across the facility.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with CPR/First Aid certifications pursued as needed. Join a team focused on service, quality, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial facilities, HVAC, electrical, and safety systems is helpful but not required.
• Experience with sports facilities and grounds is not required but helpful.
• Ability to think quickly and rationally in emergencies to prevent problems.
• General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial, and landscaping.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• CPR/FIRST AID certifications within a specified time period.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance of facility building and grounds.
• Support events, crowd control, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager on repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Open/close facility as needed and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain and inventory maintenance areas and supplies.
• Assist with dorms and related facilities maintenance tasks.
• Operate and maintain sports equipment and facility systems.
