Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Technician for the Gainesville, GA facility to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility and grounds. The role includes coordinating with vendors, managing supplies, and supporting blood drives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license and LifeSouths driver eligibility requirements.
• Ability to operate floor care machines and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Interact professionally with all customers, internal and external.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and grounds daily for cleanliness and safety.
• Make repair and maintenance recommendations to Regional Manager.
• Coordinate and monitor vendor work, ensuring proper completion and billing.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving and expensing activities of the district.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory counts.
• Prepare supplies for blood drives.
• Inspect vehicles and clean as needed.
