Job summary

Winvian Farm, a luxury resort in Morris, CT, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Facilities team. You will supervise maintenance staff, oversee repairs across buildings, cottages, utilities, and grounds, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining detailed records.

• Multiple years of facilities or property maintenance management experience.
• Eye for detail in maintaining a luxury property.
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems.
• Experience leading and developing maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of septic and well systems is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Track annual compliance inspections and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Plan and manage department budgets, capital improvement projects, and vendor relationships.
• Anticipate future maintenance needs and recommend long-term improvements.
• Assist with emergency repairs and respond to facility issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations.
