Job summary

The Remas Company in Fort Lauderdale seeks a reliable Maintenance Worker to perform general building and grounds maintenance at our facility. You will work under close supervision while completing routine tasks to keep the site clean, safe, and functional.

Duties include landscaping, cleaning offices and restrooms, moving furniture for meetings, assisting with small repairs, and setting up temporary traffic controls as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance or related experience.
• Valid Florida Class E Driver's License required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and landscape areas to be presentable, clean and safe.
• Performs facility maintenance to ensure a clean, safe environment for the public and staff.
• Cleans offices, break rooms, restrooms, halls, shop areas and sidewalks.
• Moves furniture and related items to relocate/rearrange workstations and set up for events.
• Interacts with the public and staff to give directions, explain work activities, or resolve issues.
• Sets out temporary traffic control devices to ensure safe worksite operations.
• Prepares log sheets to document activities and equipment usage.
