Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter and can work effectively without supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of experience with small facilities repair required.
• Experience with hand tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to read architectural drawings a plus.
• Welding experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete assigned facilities work orders efficiently.
• Perform maintenance and repair work across the portfolio (carpentry, painting, grounds keeping, landscaping).
• Utilize basic knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and create work orders as needed.
• Communicate with tenants and Facility Managers; provide notices for upcoming projects.
• Assist outside service vendors as necessary.
• Use computers/phones to handle maintenance requests.
• Prioritize work based on urgency.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
