Job summary

Humane Society of North Texas is seeking a diligent Maintenance & Facilities staff member to maintain grounds, assist in upkeep of buildings, fences, and plantings across Fort Worth area locations. Responsibilities include mowing, irrigation, waste removal, safety compliance, and coordinating vehicle maintenance.

The role requires valid Texas driver's license, ability to tow a trailer, and experience in record keeping and coordinating with management on supplies and donations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Texas driver's license and qualify as insurable driver on company insurance plan.
• Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Experience with grounds maintenance and facilities upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds at multiple locations including mowing, irrigation, and plantings.
• Perform routine maintenance of facilities and ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist Development Dept with Gift in Kind Donations – picking up and unloading pallets.
• Maintain accurate information and records for vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
