Minneapolis Public Housing Authority seeks a dedicated janitorial worker to perform routine cleaning in MPHA high-rise and family housing properties, including vacant unit prep and exterior grounds maintenance. The role supports our mission through thorough cleaning, safety, and cooperative work with pest control and maintenance teams.

These positions require a High School Diploma or GED and typically one year of related experience; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience performing routine janitorial and grounds maintenance duties is preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required; criminal history background check may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine janitorial duties in high-rise and family housing properties.
• Clean vacant units and prepare them for re-rental.
• Maintain building and grounds including mowing, snow removal, and debris removal.
• Assist pest control and monitor security of housing units.
• Attend staff meetings and on-call after-hours duties as assigned.
