Job summary

Harlow's Casino Resort & Spa in Greenville, MS is seeking a Facilities General Maintenance professional to perform maintenance duties under the direction of the facilities leadership. You will help maintain tools, vehicles and equipment and perform repairs to building components such as roofs, windows, doors and floors.

The role requires reading and following documentation, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks assigned by the Director, Manager or Supervisor of the facilities department.
• Repair or replace defective equipment using hand and power tools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment as assigned by Director.
• Follow OSHA regulations and other safety regulations as set by the Company.
• Complete all tasks and contribute to building maintenance.

Job Summary

Performs any work which is assigned by the Director, Manager or Supervisor of the facilities department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for efficient operations of property.
• Help to maintain all tools, vehicles and equipment as assigned by Director.
• Completes all tasks as assigned.
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment using hand and power tools.
• Ability to use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers saws, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing device.
• Repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall and other parts of building structures.
• Ability to follow OSHA regulations and other safety regulations as set by the Company.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regards to the implementation of current duties. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in facilities preferred.
