Job summary

Children's Attention Home is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and grounds across multiple locations. The role includes hands-on repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Training in trauma-informed care is required within 6 months of hire and daily tasks include inspections and documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge in general building maintenance and related tasks.
• Mandatory attendance at trauma-informed care training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate external vendors and volunteers scheduling and completion for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain fleet vehicles through inspections, service coordination, and preventive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and maintain documentation for inspections.
