Job summary

Cal Farley’s seeks a senior facilities and operations leader to oversee campus maintenance, fleet services, and capital projects. You will plan, budget, and supervise trades to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across buildings, vehicles, and fuel systems.

The role requires five years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and solid leadership capabilities to support Boys Ranch programs and residential operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible facilities management experience.
• Minimum three years of staff supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with capital projects, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of building trades and fleet operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance/fleet software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed and respond to urgent operational needs.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for campus maintenance and fleet services.
• Direct preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance across facilities and vehicles.
• Oversee capital projects, renovations, and safety compliance programs.
• Manage contractors, architects, and internal trades to codes and standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, disruptions, and transportation impacts with stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment, fuel systems, and vehicles are safe and ready for use.
• Supervise staff, manage performance, and support resident activities.
• Prepare budgets, planning documents, and warranty management.
