Job summary

Children's Attention Home is seeking Maintenance Technicians to oversee upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and grounds across multiple locations in Rock Hill, SC.

This hands-on role involves performing repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work; regular inspections; vendor coordination with volunteers; and fleet maintenance to keep vehicles in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• General knowledge of building maintenance, facility repairs, groundskeeping and related tasks.
• 4-day trauma-informed care training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate external vendors and volunteers scheduling and work completion for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain fleet vehicles through inspections, service coordination, and preventive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and maintain documentation for inspections.
