Job summary

City of Grapevine is seeking a on-site custodial and facilities assistant to maintain a clean, safe, guest-ready environment for meetings, festivals, and events. You will interact with staff, vendors and the public, delivering professional customer service and reliable maintenance.

Responsibilities include cleaning, set‑ups for events, basic AV assistance, and helping with catering support. The role requires physical work and availability for varied hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Evenings, weekends, and some holidays may be required.
• Ability to perform light to medium physical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial and sanitation tasks.
• Set up and tear down tables, chairs and equipment.
• Assist with in-house catering and event preparations.
• Maintain outdoor fountains; clean and refill as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning tools safely and properly.
• Support CVB festivals, programs and special events.
