Job summary

Boise State University is seeking staff to coordinate equipment and facility setup for meetings and events, while delivering customer service to building patrons. The role includes security duties, facility maintenance, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

Applicants should be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, lift up to 60 pounds, and interpret event documents to prioritize tasks. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers.
• Experience providing customer service and explaining policies and procedures; using common facility preparation tools.
• Ability to interpret written and oral instructions and set work priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment and facility set-up for meetings, conferences, and events.
• Secure areas, turn out lights, and lock doors as scheduled.
• Operate equipment (Fork Lifts, hand tools) and manage audio-visual setups.
