Job summary

Wheaton Bible Church is seeking a Facility Services Specialist to perform custodial and event support duties across the campus. You will clean, set up for events, and respond to immediate needs while maintaining safe, orderly spaces.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least three years of custodial experience, with preferred carpet cleaning skills and safe chemical handling. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years of custodial experience required.
• Experience with carpet cleaning and extraction preferred.
• Able to mix and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Operate manual and power cleaning equipment in public areas.
• Must read and follow directions in English and stay safe around chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing and vacuuming.
• Carpet extraction and spot removal.
• Gather and empty trash; clean fixtures and surfaces.
• Set up tables, chairs and event needs for campus activities.
• Monitor safety and security; report repairs to management.
