Job summary

Duke Energy in the United States is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair of non-power block systems, facilities and equipment to support site operations.

The role includes handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sewer systems and data center support equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability. Onsite work with potential licensing requirements; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
• Licensed Electrician and/or Licensed Plumber and/or HVAC Certification required.
• CDL license (DOT) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC units both inside and outside Protected Area.
• Perform electrical repairs in Site Services facilities.
• Repair plumbing in kitchens, labs, restrooms and offices.
• Maintain sewer systems, lift stations and sewage ejectors.
• Repair/PM compressors and other equipment.
• Test and PM eye wash stations and fire protection systems.
