Job summary

Precision Medicine Group, LLC. Winston-Salem, NC, USA seeks a Facilities Specialist responsible for maintenance, calibration, qualification and monitoring of facility equipment, HVAC, electrical and support systems.

The role liaises with vendors, supports EHS initiatives and emergency response, and leads maintenance programs. Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, maintaining records, creating SOPs, and providing technical support to laboratory and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in mechanical or maintenance incl. backup power and switchgear.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel including overnight stays; clean driving record.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track and update maintenance tasks and keep vendors informed.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and maintain records in the asset system.
• Lead qualification and validation activities for new equipment.
• Monitor facility systems including HVAC, electrical, generators, and safety equipment.
• Assist in emergency response and safety training.
• Prepare reports on equipment downtime and usage for management.
• Support facility safety programs and audits as needed.
• Collaborate with site leadership and teams on maintenance planning.
