Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Facilities Environmental Coordinator to oversee compliance activities at a Harrisburg, PA facility. This role focuses on waste management, EPCRA, SPCC, hazmat storage and transportation, and training of associates in core environmental and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating SPCC plans, training staff, and supporting department projects within the EC&S team to address evolving regulations and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering, environmental science, or chemistry.
• Experience with hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance.
• RCRA knowledge and OSHA familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities compliance initiatives across CFC locations, including SPCC and EPCRA programs.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants to implement spill prevention and storage plans.
• Train associates on hazardous waste management and compliance practices.
• Develop and execute projects to improve regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and review waste manifests and related regulatory documents.
