Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate I, Facilities Engineering Technical Support to join the Critical Utilities team at the ASPEX Facility in Fort Worth, TX. You will become a SME for HVAC, water generation and purification systems, steam systems, condensate, and other utility equipment.

Qualifications

3 Years of Relevant Experience
The role requires working on 3rd shift (Wed–Sat, 8:30pm–7:00am) and travel 0-10%.

Responsibilities

Performs routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, schematics, engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facility.
Operating utility equipment; conducts tests and reports data in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
Performing calibrations of a wide range of instrumentation throughout facility.
Documenting work performed in a variety of computerized systems, Maximo, ProCal, Veeva, SAP, Workday, HSENet, Team Center etc.
Supports customers by responding to radio communications for support.
