Job summary

ABM Engineering Services is seeking a Manager of Engineering to direct engineering staff and site contractors for maintenance, safety plans, and adherence to standards. The role oversees preventive work orders, training, and equipment stock while guiding 5-year planning and budgetary controls.

The position requires licensure and certifications, strong communication, and experience with building automation and energy systems. It is a full-time on-site role at our Detroit facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience commensurate with facility management leadership.
• Licensed stationary engineer and/or HVAC credentials.
• Strong communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and inspections, staff scheduling, and resource planning.
• Train engineering staff and maintain stock levels for equipment and parts.
• Monitor work orders, report delays, and optimize maintenance programs.
