Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Facilities Engineering/ Maintenance Engineer in Hutchinson, KS to lead engineering for a divisional maintenance program. You will oversee budgets, capital projects, and maintenance of building systems across stores and facilities, while driving energy reduction and safety initiatives.

The role requires a engineering degree, extensive maintenance experience, and strong financial and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years proven engineering or maintenance experience (Level 7).
• 7+ years proven engineering or maintenance experience (Level 8).
• Basic financial knowledge.
• High level of computer operating skills including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispatch and ASP maintenance personnel.
• Develop capital and expense budgets and allocations for building repairs and equipment replacements.
• Manage capital and expense projects associated with building repairs & equipment replacements.
• Manage the vendor onboarding process for new and existing vendors.
• Provide maintenance budgets & service level reports to Maintenance Manager.
