Responsibilities

The Facilities Engineer Manager oversees the administration, organization, and implementation of large, complex facilities operations & maintenance programs. This role is accountable for critical environment operations, safety, risk mitigation, infrastructure maintenance, personnel management, and client relations. Responsibilities include managing financials, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, coordinating with teams, and responding to emergencies 24/7.

  • Manage small to medium projects (10-40 personnel)
  • Coordinate with management, clients, contractors, and professionals
  • Schedule projects to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Determine manpower needs and assign tasks
  • Plan and direct facilities and maintenance activities
  • Explain plans and contracts to staff and clients
  • Manage client relationships and negotiate agreements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity
  • Supervise workers and facilitate their career growth
  • Monitor project budgets and compliance
  • Interface with engineering teams and customers
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and SOW
  • Coordinate installation issues and process improvements
  • Track work progress and maintain detailed records
  • Address customer concerns and project status
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12+ years experience with Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, or 9+ years with a Master's
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Top-Secret/SCI clearance
  • Experience with management systems, project oversight, and reporting
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling and project management tools
  • Successful project delivery on time and under budget
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Preferred: Accubid Estimating, Primavera P6 experience
  • Willingness to travel as needed
