Job summary

Legends Global has an immediate opening for a Building Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. The role maintains all facility systems, ensures safety, and supports events with standby coverage. Strong HVAC, electrical and plumbing skills plus willingness to learn A/V fundamentals are required.

Typical duties include maintenance, repairs, installations, and collaboration with contractors. This is an on-site, non-exempt hourly position with opportunities for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma, GED or college degree.
• Electrical or plumbing background preferred.
• Comfort with lifts, ladders, and basic hand tools.
• Able to read drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Willing to learn A/V fundamentals for live events.
• NIULPE license required or to be renewed annually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, foodservice and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; provide parts info for purchases.
• Install new equipment such as appliances, motors, lighting, shelving.
• Provide event-day standby support and respond to radio calls.
• Offer feedback to improve outcomes and sustainability.
• Complete work orders using cloud-based system.
