Polar Semiconductor is offering a Facilities Engineer Intern position in Bloomington, MN on-site for a temporary 12-13 week period. The role supports the Facilities Department with large facility expansion projects, equipment relocations, and installation activities.

You will document facility changes, communicate progress across departments, and assist Facilities Project Management as needed. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to manufacturing

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Interest in project management and cross-department collaboration.
• Strong verbal and written communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor manufacturing equipment relocations.
• Document and communicate progress of facility changes.
• Support installation of manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with Facilities Project Management activities as needed.
