Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, Inc. is seeking an Internship Facilities Engineer to support the Facilities Department in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on large facility expansion, equipment relocations, and project management support, on-site for a 12–13 week period.

The intern will assist with documenting facility changes, installations, and project coordination, gaining hands-on experience in a growing semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with interest in project management.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and cross-departmental).
• Time/Project management skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor manufacturing equipment relocations by documenting and communicating progress.
• Documentation of facility changes.
• Supporting manufacturing equipment installation.
• Supporting Facilities Project Management activities as needed.
