Job Description

Ensure the proper functioning of critical equipment and optimal building conditions and facilities to ensure plant operation in accordance with quality system regulations and standards, EHS guidelines, and established regulations.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Execute the capital investment budget for the facility area of the assigned project(s).
  2. Execute capital investment projects for plant facilities (buildings, facilities, and equipment), expansions, and new process facilities.
  3. Monitor that contractors comply with safety procedures and work schedules assigned to the facilities department.
  4. Ensure compliance with requirements and regulations concerning facility and infrastructure with the entities that insure the company's assets.
  5. Ensure compliance with project operating permits assigned to government entities.
  6. Execute energy savings and energy management activities and initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS requirements, through compliance with internal policy and procedures. Adopt necessary strategies, internal controls, communication, and training.
  8. Continuously improve EHS results through leadership, commitment, and active participation in all initiatives related to EHS.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, B2 level according to the Common European Framework.

Additional Information
  • Bachelor's in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and facilities, preferably in the Medical or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Office, Project Management, Minitab, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards, electromechanics, industrial electrical installations, HVAC, industrial mechanical systems, maintenance systems.
  • Skills in adaptability, decision-making, execution, project management, and risk management.
