Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Facilities Engineer III to perform preventive and predictive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, kitchen equipment and related systems, under supervision. The role requires a minimum of six years of journey-level experience, EPA 608 certification for HVAC, and the ability to troubleshoot and communicate with staff and guests.

Flexible schedules including holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of journey-level maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general facility repairs).
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board, including EPA Section 608 Universal Technician for HVAC.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and guest service skills, with ability to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R and kitchen equipment.
• Operate and document work orders in the CMMS.
• Respond to general maintenance service calls and assist in events setups/teardowns.
