Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, is seeking an Engineer II to handle room repairs and maintenance across the property. The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and general repair knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions.

You will support multiple building systems while ensuring guest and team member safety and satisfaction. The position is hourly and reports to engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months prior experience or education in maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver license required.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and general utilities preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems and equipment including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Report problems to management and document deficiencies promptly.
• Coordinate with shifts to minimize downtime on projects.
• Respond to accidents and emergency calls as needed.
• Maintain daily work order records and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety, codes, and manufacturers specifications.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to support repairs.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of various systems.
