Mission

Under the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Facilities Engineer II supports design and construction of test cell and civil works, building design, and equipment interfaces during sales and project delivery. Responsibilities include defining scope, producing schematic drawings/specifications, reviewing subcontractor deliverables, and supporting equipment work packages.

Responsibilities
  1. Define scope and create 3D models of building elements and workflows.
  2. Produce RFQs with technical and quality specifications.
  3. Create mechanical and electrical schematic drawings and specifications.
  4. Develop conceptual building drawings, site plans, floor plans, cross-sections, elevations, and schedules.
  5. Coordinate with design and construction suppliers, lead design reviews.
  6. Support equipment work packages, including handling path studies and installation methods.
  7. Conduct inspections and recommend upgrades.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Support after-hours meetings and calls as needed.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, MS Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally.
  • Knowledge of construction standards, codes, mechanical and electrical principles.
